I-Tech Innovation 2022 applications are open. It's the second edition of the program promoted by Fondazione Golinelli and CRIF.
The first part of the project still consists of three interrelated Calls for Innovation in three different sectors: Life Science & Digital Health, FinTech & InsurTech, AgriTech & FoodTech.
These three main areas are joined in this new edition of the programme by two new ‘experimental’ ones, the Calls for Plug In: Industry 4.0, Big Data Processing & Applied Artificial Intelligence and Social Impact.

Furthermore, the second edition of I-Tech Innovation also opens up to other partnerships with companies and institutions, such as those with the Bi-Rex Competence Center, Emil Banca, Gruppo BCC ICCREA and BPER.
Subscriptions to the call are open to researchers, independent teams, and startups who want to turn their projects into efficient business models and entities. The selected teams will be granted access to G-Force 2022, the acceleration customized program that offers investments, mentoring meetings and business networking opportunities.
This year’s investment consists of 1.500.000 €, that will be divided among the 16 startups’ batch composed of:
- Up to 4 startups of the Life Science & Digital Health sectors
- Up to 5 startups of the FinTech & InsurTech sectors
- Up to 3 startups of the AgriTech & FoodTech sectors
- Up to 2 startups of the Industry 4.0, Big Data processing-HPC & Applied Artificial Intelligence sectors
- Up to 2 startups of the Social Impact sector

The main venue for the Acceleration Programme will be BOOM, CRIF’s new innovation hub, which will open in Bologna in autumn 2022. In addition to BOOM, part of the activities will also take place at Opificio Golinelli, the G-Factor headquarters, and the pilot line of the Bi-Rex Competence Center.
