Focus on the invisible. Microscopy School is a project by Fondazione Golinelli and G-LAB. The course is also in collaboration with Dr. Spartaco Santi, researcher at the Institute of Molecular Genetics IGM-CNR, head of the Digital Microscopy Center at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute and curator of the specialized scientific dissemination project Scuola di Microscopia.
The courses have the patronage of the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences (DIMEC), University of Bologna.
Thanks to the technological partners  NIKON EUROPE B.V.EVIDENT EUROPE G.M.B.H. e EVIDENT GLOBAL ACADEMY.

Focus on the invisible has been awarded the first prize of the Deep Tech Talent Training Prize in the Life Sciences and Green Technologies category, within the dedicated training-focused segment.

Aims

Addressee

Researchers, laboratory technicians, facility staff members, health personnel, PhD students, university students.

The online course is in English, therefore both Italian and foreign students can access to the programs.

How does it work?

Program

Focus on the invisible in an online course, made up of 23 modules (Basic level: 10 modules - Advanced level: 13 modules).

Both programs take place asynchronously, last 25 hours each, and are available on WeSchool.

Each module provides a video presentation and a self-assessment questionnaire.

The lessons are available from the moment of signing up for the course until 20th December, 2024.

Trainers

Speakers and Tutors come from the most important Universities, Research Institutes and Technology Companies. They have been collaborating for years with School of Microscopy, whose initiatives have seen more than 400 students over the years.

Participants can interact with the speakers by exchanging opinions and sharing knowledge in order to learn methodologies and procedures.
